We are seeking a seasoned and transformational Vice President/General Manager of our Power Systems business. This business services the global marine, RV, and specialty vehicle markets and includes the following brands: Mastervolt, RELiON, Fathom, Blue Sea Systems, Marinco, BEP, Pro Mariner, Progressive Industries, and Ancor. This leader will also play a central role in defining and executing Brunswick’s enterprise electrification strategy.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and delivery of a global product strategy for Power Systems to drive growth and maximize value-creation
Work closely the Navico Group engineering team to ensure new product launches occur on-time, on-budget, and with maximum marketplace impact
Oversee definition and execution of a large-scale capital plan to elevate development and manufacturing capabilities at our facilities in Lowell, Michigan (outside Grand Rapids) and Amsterdam, Netherlands
Drive value-maximizing pricing and promotion strategies for all global regions
Guide and influence brand strategies to ensure that our broad portfolio of brands is appropriately differentiated and wins with target customers
Work with Navico Group supply chain teams to define winning near- and long-term sourcing strategies
Devise and deliver key inorganic growth strategies (M&A) in support of Navico Group long range plan objectives
Attract, engage and inspire a diverse, global team of Power Systems professionals
Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to help influence – and ensure compliance with – the emerging regulatory environment
Serve as a key leadership partner with sister divisions, Mercury & Brunswick Boat Group, in the definition and delivery of a winning electric propulsion strategy
Lead engagement externally with key stakeholders – customers, suppliers, development partners, media, regulators, etc. – to position the Power Systems business for long-term growth
Qualifications
10+ years of P&L management experience in power systems categories
Strong demonstrated track-record of guiding customer-driven new product development
Clear indication of strategic decision-making that drives results
Demonstrated thought leader on enterprise-level business, product, and M&A strategies
Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence and drive alignment among stakeholders across all levels and functions
BS/BA required in Business, Engineering, or related field
MBA strongly preferred
