The primary responsibilities of this position will involve working closely with our Distribution & International sales managers and assist them in growing our business. This person will create marketing strategy for these channels by collaborating with multiple departments, providing product and sales information, and support customer requests.
Support the channel marketing manager in developing marketing strategies for our brands and products within our Distribution and International sales channels. Create customer presentations that clearly communicate these positions. Work with our communications team to develop channel assets such as images, videos, and creative content.
Work closely with our sales managers by supporting requests for product material, sales data, and events. Identify new opportunities by developing marketing campaigns. Create customer communications and announcements.
Manage and attend distribution channel tradeshows, promoting our products and brands.
Manage electronic rebate program for our MotorGuide brand by providing website assistance and recaps to the organization for analysis. Facilitate the distribution and creation of supporting material
Assist in developing the annual marketing budget and coordinating appropriate payments
Create annual channel programs that support the growth of our brands and drive gross margin.
Education Requirements (special training, college degree, etc.)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing, equivalent experience may be considered
3+ years’ experience in sales, marketing, or ecommerce in a CPG environment
Story brand marketing experience and strategy is a plus
Skill Requirements (Technical, Communication, Interpersonal, etc.)
High level knowledge of PCs and software including MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point) and Salesforce
Ability to independently manage detail and take initiative to follow through on work projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Enjoys interacting and working with others
Flexible and responsive to daily changes
Work Environment (travel, shift, lifting requirements, hazardous conditions, etc.)
