Production Studio Director

Location: Chicagoland or Milwaukee (hybrid 2x per week)
OVERVIEW
Brunswick Corporation is seeking a Production Studio Director to join our Creative Center of Excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the production of a growing global studio of technical creative subject matter experts—including talent like production artists, video producers, video editors and packaging designers—to produce creative assets at scale—while ensuring quality standards are met, for our Brunswick divisions and brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the production of a high-volume studio; including overseeing project resourcing, production schedules, budget, workflows/process, reporting, vendor management and equipment to ensure on-time deliverables
Establishes and leads operational best practices within the studio, as well as with internal and external partners, ensuring optimal efficiency and proper resource utilization
Develops and mentors a team of highly technical talent that can work agilely across many projects and brands
Acts as a key communicator for the Creative Studio team and keeps all relevant stakeholders apprised of production details
Helps bridge the gap between creative concepting and production by ensuring the right resources are in place to bring the creative idea to life
Develops the Studio’s ecosystem: including management of the Digital Asset Manager (DAM), proofing tool(s), server, file-sharing, production vendor management etc
Responsible for ensuring production quality standards are being met and overseeing asset management/governance
Manages the master production calendars across the Enterprise to ensure production efficiencies, cross-brand collaboration, governance and cost controls are in place
Collaborates with creative leadership and performance marketing to ensure creative outputs meet creative direction and performance marketing best practices
Responsible for developing scalable and agile content creation processes to help build deliverables for content and performance marketing needs
Build a production studio capability from the ground up; including priorities like identifying tools, resources and studio location needs
Responsible for maximizing productivity of the studio team across our business units through working closely with Creative Operations to assign resources based on projects and workloads
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience managing budgets, assigning, and monitoring work, and developing plans in alignment with organizational strategy
Experience building a preferred vendor ecosystem to deliver assets within tight managed budgets and developing internal teams to drive efficiencies to deliver on the ask and beyond
Experience building production capabilities and working in a fast-paced, matrix organization to establish prioritization that meet global business objectives
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different stakeholder groups
Deeply capable with budget forecasting, resourcing and actualization
Expertise with production process and terminology
Pragmatic problem solving capabilities
Proven track record of delivering high-volume creative outputs across mediums and channels that meets quality standards established
Experience building and leading a studio team
