We are seeking a Call Center Representative to join our Kellogg Marine team in Old Lyme, CT.

  • Effectively manage high-call volume to promote sales of products and services.

  • Maintain high degree of Parts and Accessories product knowledge and service expertise

  • Promote and enhance company reputation by providing excellent service standards and effective customer support.

  • Minimum cold-calling to potential customers to actively build sustainable relationships of trust by using the right methods/tools promoting products and services.

  • Effectively communicate with customers and troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions by gathering facts.

  • Serve as a liaison, providing Parts and Accessories product/services information and resolve any emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Partner with sales team and with other departments to ensure a positive relationship with customers are maintained and are meeting company objectives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high call volume environment and have good communication skills.

  • Customer Relations Management by being courteous, fair and expeditious in handling of all service customer complaints.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and perform all other departmental related duties as assigned or requested

  • Listening skills to resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner over the phone.

  • Familiarity with AS400 preferred

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • At least one (1) year of prior call center experience

  • College degree preferred.
