As the Manager, Total Rewards, you will be responsible for all aspects of compensation and benefits strategies, policies and programs. In this position, you will design, develop, and implement compensation and benefits programs for the Americas. You will help ensure that our compensation and benefits programs align with company goals, comply with legal requirements and positively impact our culture by attracting, rewarding and retaining talented people. Design, develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits programs for the Americas.
Ensure that the salary administration structure and all compensation programs align with the needs of the business while remaining market competitive.
Lead compensation processes including annual merit review and short-term incentive bonus program.
Manage participation in area and industry specific benefit and compensation surveys to stay current with external trends that will attract, retain, and motivate the talent needed to drive our business priorities.
Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policies for all new and existing roles.
Works closely with the international HR team in designing compensation structures for global alignment.
Consult with and provide direction, guidance, and resolution to site HR teams and business leaders on compensation matters.
Analyze compensation and benefit program, policies and practices to ensure they are compliant, competitive, cost effective, and align with company philosophy and support business objectives.
Ensure benefits and compensation plans meet regulatory compliance and governance/audit requirements; consult with legal resources and stay abreast of developing legislation and its potential impact
Continuously monitor the market, partner with our insurance broker and other vendors to drive the design and management of benefits programs.
Maintain relationships with 3rd party providers and ensure data exchanges are monitored and executed with accuracy and timeliness.
Resolve complex or difficult employee issues through direct contact with vendors and/or management.
Prepare and participate in periodic reviews of plan performance with vendors.
Develops company cost information for new plans and makes recommendations to management on annual or mid-year benefit changes.
Evaluate and compare existing company benefits with those of other employers annually.
Manage employee leave of absences processed through third party administrator.
Advise on relocation package practices, including the management of ex and inpatriate assignments, ensuring all aspects of the contract are implemented correctly.
Works with payroll and outside resources on US taxation.
Manages external management company to ensure adequate expenses are processed and reimbursed.
Manage open enrolment activities annually.
Coordinate and conduct training for employees to increase their knowledge and awareness of our total rewards program.
Other duties as assigned.
Requires BA/BS in Business, HR or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of Compensation and/or Benefits experience.
Experience in building compensation and benefits strategies.
Strong knowledge of compensation and benefit plans and applicable laws including FLSA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and IRS regulations.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CEBS) desired.
Compensation expertise in merit pay programs, incentive and bonus plans, job evaluation, and salary survey use and methodology.
Proven track record of success in creating sales variable compensation programs that drive business results.
Must possess excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with changing needs.
Strong equity plan experience and experience running year-end analysis.
Experience with Workday.
Must possess exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to interact with and establish trust and credibility with all levels of the organization. Must possess strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders absent a reporting relationship.
Must possess the ability and experience utilizing sound judgment, problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills.
Must possess superior analytical, evaluative and problem-solving capabilities.
Must possess expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create complex spreadsheets utilizing advanced formulas. Intermediate proficiency in Word and PowerPoint required.
Exceptional presentation skills required.
High levels of ethics, personal discipline and professionalism required .
