Position Summary:

Supporting and organizing the shift production work and workers in Electronics and Plastics/Molding on 1st shift. Follow the instruction/guidance of the department Production Supervisor and follow the instruction that is received from him/her. Report all personnel management issues to the Production Supervisor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Guide, coordinates and organize, work team to ensure that the production activities are realized to achieve the amount of product according to schedule and in accordance with quality standards and process compliance.

  • Provide support to all team members with equality to

  • Work with all departments covering the tasks necessary to produce the final product.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

  • Receives and follow the production guidance of department supervisor

  • Verify employee work areas

  • Verify stretch activity

  • 5s walkthrough

  • Ensure schedule attainment in areas for the day

  • Input Productivity information from the previous shift

  • Check that the production rates follow the established production plan, and the weekly established a plan.

  • Verify work hours for employees

  • Update production scorecard

  • Update lean board

  • Provide training

  • Gathering required materials for operation

  • Relieving employees when needed for Break, misc.….

  • Create work orders as needed

  • Communicate with production scheduling

  • Daily meeting with production supervisor

  • Perform random quality checks/QIL

  • Review nonconformance tubs, identify rework, MRB, scrap

  • Communicate across department/shift

  • Personal growth

  • Equipment setup as needed

  • Obtain supplies from the tool crib

  • Stock receipt(electronics)

  • Verify that all the material and the final product is moved in the right way and in the right position.

  • Ensures that they meet the production variables in terms of direct and indirect hours absorbed, use of the system, staff performance, and process waste.

  • Check environmental and safety compliance by Daily safety audit

  • Working with supervisors to implement the company's policies and goals

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associate degree preferred.

  • Minimum of at least one year group of line leader experience preferred.

  • Minimum of five years of manufacturing experience.

  • Leadership skills

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

  • Lean Six Sigma Methodology

  • Ability to effectively manage time and lead a team of subordinates.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Good computer skills (Microsoft office).
